Welcome To Troop 108!

Come join the fun and become a part of the Troop 108 family! If you are a boy, between the ages of 11 and 17, who likes meeting new friends, camping, hiking, and learning new skills while having fun, we invite you to check out our troop!  

Troop 108 is chartered by Our Lady of the Valley (OLV) Church in Wayne, NJ.  However, we are a non-denominational organization, therefore you do not have to be a member of OLV to join.  Please feel free to "Contact Us" with any questions you may have.

Troop 108 will be participating in our council's district camping/backpacking event at Camp Yaw Paw during the weekend of October 7 - 9th.  We will be participating in a 5 mile / 10 mile hike on the historic Cannonball Trail while camping at Camp Yaw Paw.   Along the trail there will be stations set up so that the scouts can work on requirements for Camping, Hiking, Backpacking and Cooking merit badges.

Resica Falls Scout Reservation is located in the Pocono Mountains, Pa.  They offer over 70 merit badges as well as a canoe/camping trek down the Delaware River, a backpacking/camping trek for a week as well as several other adventurous options.  More information can be found at   http://colbsa.org/resica-falls-scout-reservation/  and  http://colbsa.org/resicasummer/.

Troop 108 will be seeking committee members for several open positions as well as looking for volunteers who will be able to assist the committee.

The Boy Scout Troop Committee is responsible for conducting the business of the troop, setting policy, and helping the Scoutmaster and Scouts with the outdoor program and other planned activities. The committee also has the responsibility to provide adults for boards of review. This is an important responsibility and is one area where help is always needed and appreciated. The committee consists of parent volunteers who fulfill various roles on the committee.
